Vast deserts coexist with alpine meadows and tropical jungles, magnificent national parks with museums and chic boutiques, water sports, safaris and rock climbing with magnificent white beaches…..

Day 1 (Friday) Prague-Dubai

Departure from Prague- Dubai by flight  at 13:10. Arrival in Dubai at 18:25. Transfer to flight  to Melbourne at 20:20.

Day 2 (Saturday) Dubai - Melbourne

Arrive in Melbourne at 17:45. Meet at the airport with a guide, transfer and accommodation in a 4-star hotel.

Day 3 (Sunday) Melbourne

  • Meals: lunch with wine tasting

Excursion to the Yarra Valley (lunch and local wine tasting at the winery are included in the price).

Take a trip to one of the vineyards of the famous Yarra Valley and taste local wines. The guide will tell you about the popular varieties of wine from the Yarra Valley, as well as explain how and when the first vines appeared in the Yarra Valley, how many vineyards exist today and why traditional wine bottle corks are no longer used in Australia.

Visit to the city of Melbourne

A tour of Melbourne’s historic buildings: the State Parliament Building (former Parliament of Australia), the Windsor Hotel, the Royal Exhibition Building – the only building in Australia listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Drive through Melbourne’s business district and Collins Street with countless businessmen and many exclusive boutiques, stop at the majestic Princess Theatre, drive along the very track of the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix and past the Queen Victoria Market, famous for its variety of goods, souvenirs and products at low prices.

See Captain Cook’s cabin, St Paul’s Cathedral, Melbourne’s old jail and the 888 monument. You will also enjoy beautiful views of yachts and the sea along the St Kilda waterfront, visit the city’s premier meeting place “under the clock” in front of Flinders train station, walk through Federation Square in the heart of the city, stroll through a small and unusual graffiti alley, and stand on Melbourne’s oldest bridge over the Yarra River.

During the tour we will pass through Melbourne’s Olympic Village, where the 1956 Olympics were held, and you will be able to see the MCG Stadium, which hosts all major Australian football, rugby, cricket and Rod Laver Arena, where the annual Australian Open tennis tournament and concerts of musical stars are held.

Day 4 (Monday) Melbourne

Optional group excursions with an English guide at an additional cost:

Great Ocean Road excursion: kangaroos, koalas, parrots, gorges, Southern Ocean views and the 12 Apostles (12 hours) = AU$ 130 per person ~ USD 98 per person (1 AUD$ = 0.75 USD)

– Excursion: Puffing Billy train ride + Dandenong Reserve with cockatoo feeding and a walk through the ancient eucalyptus forest, visit to Healesville Sanctuary Wildlife Park (lunch included) = AU$169 per person = AUD$169 per person.

Phillip Island Penguin Parade and Koala and Kangaroo Park, full day (10 hours) = AUD 132 per person.

– Excursion to Ballarat, the city of the gold rush, and Sovereign Hill, the 19th-century gold rush town and museum, where the atmosphere of the gold rush is still present, with a descent into a gold mine, a gold bar casting show and self-guided gold panning, full day (6 hours) = AUD$ 135 per person. 

Day 5 (Tuesday) Melbourne - Cairns

Free time to explore the city at your leisure.

Transfer to the airport and fly to Cairns. Arrival in Cairns, meeting with a guide, transfer to the hotel, en route a short sightseeing tour of Cairns.

Cairns is the best place for diving and visiting the Great Barrier Reef, the largest coral reef on the planet. Many islands and reefs are scattered in the ocean where you can enjoy clear water, sun and beaches, snorkelling and diving away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Accommodation in a 4-star hotel. 

Day 6 (sea) Cairns - Great Barrier Reef - Fitzroy Island

Meals: lunch

Excursion to the Great Barrier Reef with an English-speaking guide. Cruise on a modern high-speed catamaran to the picturesque Moore Reefs. Full-day excursion, including lunch and snorkelling equipment (mask, snorkel, fins).

At the end of the tour, disembarkation on Fitzroy Island and check in at the Fitzroy Island Resort. 

Day 8 (Fri) Island Fitzroy - Cairns

Kuranda Village
  • Meals: BBQ lunch

Transfer by ferry to Cairns (45 minutes on the way). Excursions to the mountain village of Kuranda and visits to the Aboriginal Park (includes barbecue lunch, jungle walk on amphibians, Aboriginal show with boomerang and spear throwing, dancing, and playing the didgeridoo).

We arrive in the village of Kuranda, where many cafes and souvenir shops exist. You can relax with a cup of coffee or buy local souvenirs. Next, you will drive to the Aboriginal Park. You will have the opportunity to ride through the tropical jungle on an American amphibious all-terrain vehicle. There is also a tropical plant garden and a small Australian wildlife park where you can see koalas, kangaroos, dingoes, and platypuses (large flightless birds). You will also see a dance performance by the local Pammagirri Aboriginal tribe to the sounds of a traditional Aboriginal musical instrument – the didgeridoo. After the performance, one of the locals will demonstrate his boomerang and spear-throwing skills and tell how the aborigines hunted, lived and made didgeridoo.

Transfer and check-in at the hotel. 

Day 9 (Saturday) Cairns - Sydney

Transfer to the airport (without a guide), flight to Sydney. Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to a 4* hotel. 

Day 10 (Wednesday) Sydney

Harbour Bridge

Half-day tour of Sydney with a guide. Visit the most important sights in the city centre: the famous Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, and the historic Rocks district. Then visit Hyde Park, Mary’s Cathedral Sydney first prison called the Barrac Sydney’s main library, Australia’s oldest museum, Parliament House and the Mint.

Day 11 (Monday) Sydney

Depart for a day trip to the Blue Mountains National Park and a visit to the Australian Animal Park (park entrance included).

The Blue Mountains, located west of Sydney, is one of Australia’s most famous national parks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its natural value and uniqueness. The park gets its name from the bluish smog caused by the smoke of the eucalyptus trees, which paints the mountains a bluish-blue colour when viewed from a distance.

The park is famous for its waterfalls, ancient rocks, valleys and gorges covered with centuries-old eucalyptus forests. You can enjoy the magnificent views, breathe in the cleanest air and recharge your batteries with healthy ions. In the morning, departure to the Blue Mountains. On the way, we will visit the Australian Wildlife Park.

Here you can see all the leading Australian animals: charming kangaroos and sleeping koalas, cute penguins, beautiful platypuses and giant clumsy wombats (a family of marsupials), a predatory crocodile, kookaburras and not echidnas at all, but pretty, calm echidnas. You can pet and take pictures with a koala, feed kangaroos and wallabies, and watch a crocodile feeding show. Then, move west to the Blue Mountains National Park. You will visit the most beautiful places in the national park, admire the mountain slopes, rocky cliffs, and waterfalls, and walk through the virgin eucalyptus forest.

 You will see the breathtaking mountains and, of course, visit the famous Three Sisters observation deck. The observation bridge offers magnificent views of the famous Three Sisters Rocks and Jamieson Valley. You will have free time for a short independent walk (you can climb to the rocks themselves, go down to the foot of the waterfall in the gorge and walk along the cliffs along a particular path). Return to the hotel.

Day 12 (Tuesday) Sydney -Dubai

Transfer to the airport, departure to Dubai by flight at 22:10.

Day 13 (Wednesday) Dubai- Prague

Arrival in Dubai at 05:05. Transfer to flight  to Prague.

Optional programme in Ayers Rock for those wishing to visit the red centre of Australia – the Uluru region (in a group with an English-speaking guide):

Uluru, Ayers Rock – formed 680 million years ago, a steeply sloping red sandstone mountain range (height 348 m, length 3.6 km, width 2.4 km), located in central Australia, 320 km southwest of Alice Springs, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lined with deep gutters and caves with ancient rock paintings, Uluru is a sacred Aboriginal mountain with many legends. In the past, in the centre of the Australian continent, at the bottom of the salty Lake Amadeus, rock destruction resulted in the formation of a rock resembling a giant elephant. Today, there is a spring and rare eucalyptus and acacia trees at the foot of the famous Urulu Rock in the Ururu-Kata Tjuta National Park.
