River Tribe Adventures big news… to celebrate our second birthday in October 2016 we opened a second location… Yarrawonga and the Mighty Murray River! This will allow guests to experience Australia’s mightiest river at the same time as tasting some amazing local produce and indulging in the wealth of tourist services in Yarrawonga and surrounds.

NEW KAYAK TOURS & FLEXIBILITY.
River Tribe Adventures has been out researching, exploring and adventuring and is happy to release new kayak routes between Wangaratta and Tarranwingee. This means enthusiastic paddlers can now have more flexibility, paddle shorter or longer, fish and camp more spots whilst also being fully supported by River Tribe.The new routes allow flexibility in kayaking distance and time with multiple entry and exit points. River Tribe is now offering more tours to the menu as well!
Tours and hire options can be selected with a range of distances & times as follows. The distances and times shown are indicative of an average pace and without any stops along the way.
- 4km about 45 minutes of kayak time
- 7.5km 1-2 hours of kayak time
- 9km 2 hours of kayak time
- 15km 2-4 hours of kayak time
- 17km 4 hours of kayak time
- 24km 4-6 hours of kayak time
River Tribe Adventures fully encourage guests to enjoy the experience and alllow paddlers to go as slow or as fast as they choose by ending a tour when they want. Everything is flexible, everything can be tailored, everything is enjoyed.
BUSINESS, CORPORATE OR LEISURE GROUPS
New for 2015 are group sailing and kayaking packages on Lake Mulwala. Groups can enjoy a day out in the shade of the gum trees in an exclusive park area on Lake Mulwala. The day is fully catered with antipasto picnics, Milawa bread, home made scone with jam for afternoon tea and drinks.River Tribe provide kayaks, a few sailing craft (depending on the size of the group) and skippers to show guests the ropes. River Tribe’s rates can not be beaten anywhere in Australia which makes for an attractive package for groups.
